What are your FBL duties?

As Bookkeeper, Accountant, and Treasurer, I maintain accurate records of donations and expenditures that finance the organization operations. My role involves ensuring that the accounting system and donor database are current and precise. It is my responsibility to implement and maintain financial management procedures that align with professional standards.

Why do you volunteer?

Before retiring, I was a dedicated supporter of food banks and actively involved in charitable causes. After a year-long sabbatical, I sought to apply my financial expertise towards philanthropic endeavors. I wanted to use my professional background to make a meaningful impact by contributing to and giving back to my newly adopted country and community.
