Supporting local restaurants while making a meaningful difference in the community has never been easier or more rewarding. FoodBank Lakeside Dine & Donate program partners with 30 restaurants across the region, inviting diners to enjoy delicious meals, and contribute to supporting local families in need.
At each participating restaurant, colorful table toppers share a simple message: for the price of an average meal you can help provide a family of four with nourishing food for an entire month. To join in, just ask your server for a food bank donation envelope, fill it out, and return it with your donation. For added convenience, a QR code on the table topper allows you to donate instantly using your mobile device.
Marlowe Wylson, who manages the Dine and Donate program, is actively seeking volunteers to expand the initiative to more restaurants throughout Lakeside. With an Estimated 40 potential restaurant partners in the area there is a great opportunity to grow this impactful program. Dine Locally, Give Generously
A donation of just 400 pesos, about US$20, helps to cover essential food and hygiene supplies to a family of four for a month. Thanks to minimal overhead and a committed team of Mexican nationals and expats working on a volunteer basis, FoodBank Lakeside ensures that at least 95% of every donation directly supports families in need.
