TAX DEDUCTIBLE, ONLINE DONATIONS AND CANADIAN E-TRANSFERS
TAX DEDUCTIBLE and ONLINE DONATIONS
FoodBank Lakeside uses the Foundation for Lake Chapala Charities to process online donations and to provide tax deductible receipts for donations to FoodBank Lakeside.
Monthly online donations are welcome and can be setup automatically via many payment methods (PayPal, debit and credit cards) through the Foundation for Lake Chapala Charities website. Monthly payments are essential to ensuring we have income to continue our programs throughout the year.
Donors, who bank in the U.S. and wish to claim a deduction on their U.S. taxes or wish to make a donation through PayPal, have the option of giving to FoodBank Lakeside through the Foundation for Lake Chapala Charities. The Foundation for Lake Chapala Charities is a 501(c)3 organization which automatically issues US tax receipts. We regret we are not able to provide tax deductible receipts for Canada at this time.
The Foundation for Lake Chapala Charities can accept and process donations sent via PayPal, credit cards, wire transfers, checks drawn on Mexican banks, domestic funds transfers, and cash deposits. They cannot process paper checks drawn on US or Canadian banks. At this time, we recommend that all checks be made directly to FoodBank Lakeside AC.
CANADIAN E-TRANSFERS
Canadian e-: Canadian donors also can initiate an e-transfer (free of charge) to FoodBankLakeside@gmail.com. The funds will be received in a Canadian bank account, converted to pesos and then sent to FoodBank Lakeside. At this time, we are unable to provide tax deductible receipts for Canada.
