FoodBank Lakeside invites you to grab a soup bowl to help feed hungry families and children in the area.
“Soup-er Bowl” will take place from 3:30-6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5. at Simply Joyful, Carretera Pte. #26, Ajijic, on the south side of the highway between Juarez & Pedro Moreno cross streets. Join us when you can but the event must end at 6:30 p.m..
Tickets are $450 MXN ($22.50 US) each. Tickets must be purchased in advance here on this Go Fund Me page.
FoodBank Lakeside distributes despensas (basic items such as beans, rice, oats, milk, eggs, soap and toilet paper) to hundreds of Lakeside’s poorest residents (including the elderly, severely disabled, families who’ve lost breadwinners, children) in seven local communities (Ajijic, San Antonio Tlayacapan, Riberas, Chapala, Santa Cruz, San Nicolás and San Pedro).
We also support Kids Kitchen which provides healthy lunches five days a week to hundreds of children at risk of severe malnutrition and kidney disease.
